BAKER LEAD ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares bread, desserts and any cold items needed for lunch and dinner.
Follows recipes and designated procedures to create unique pastries and baked goods.
Preps for bread and desserts needed for the next day. (Will refer to Master Production Sheets for directions, including quantity).
Responsible for Dessert freezer and pantry organization and cleanliness making sure contents is labeled and dated based on standards.
Follows all applicable guidelines and regulations for food handling and safety.
Maintains a clean and orderly work station and kitchen equipment. Follows proper sanitation techniques.

Job Requirements:
High School graduate or the equivalent, a 2 year culinary degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience working with baking/ pastry
Must be able to follow standardized recipes for preparing food and maintain the high standards in the department. Knowledge of safety, sanitation and operation of standard appliances is necessary. Ability to get along with others and work as a team member.
