Audience Insights Analyst
POLITICO is seeking an Audience Insights Analyst to join the Insights Team. As part of the larger global Data & Insights Team, you will play a critical role in leveraging data to tell a compelling story about the value of POLITICO's audience.
In this role you will manage daily audience insights inquiries and requests for the Advertising Team, provide customized recommendations and build audiences for ad targeting, and map audience insights across all our products. We want someone who will grow into the role and to identify new ways for audience insights and data to positively impact teams across the organization.

In this role you will manage daily audience insights inquiries and requests for the Advertising Team, provide customized recommendations and build audiences for ad targeting, and map audience insights across all our products. We want someone who will grow into the role and to identify new ways for audience insights and data to positively impact teams across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Work with the Advertising Sales Team to align audience insights and product suggestions with campaign goals
- Build custom audiences and tailor audience targeting to meet advertiser objectives
- Collaborate across teams to provide audience & data storytelling
- Maintain and improve audience resources across teams
- Help prioritize Data Team projects based on market needs and gaps in data
- Integrate audience data into new product launches and briefs
- Analyze data to make it actionable for teams
- Assist with managing our Data Management Platform, including vendor communication
- Up to 1 year of experience in data or insights, or relevant internship experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups, and visualizations)
- Skilled in Power Point/Keynote to clearly and effectively present data visually
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Communicates structured information in a clear, concise, and organized fashion, and can tailor communication by audience
- Ability to understand, manage and prioritize multiple requests & projects at any given time
- Growth mindset and a curiosity to lean into 1st party data, targeting and insights
