About the Position

Responsibilities
- Serve as the point person for collections and exhibitions systems (TMS, Orange Logic), collaborating with IT, curatorial, registration, and operations teams to ensure system effectiveness
- Ensure data accuracy and conduct regular data checks in Salesforce, managing integrations and connectors with collections-related systems to maintain accurate data flow.
- Manage and maintain public-facing Share Point spaces to facilitate document sharing between Art Bridges’ partners and our collections and exhibitions teams
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts, supporting staff in resolving technical issues with collections and exhibitions platforms, while escalating complex problems to IT or external vendors as needed
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to implement system updates, migrations, and new features, ensuring systems meet the specific needs of collections and exhibitions
- Reviews, updates, and develops departmental policies, procedures, and training resources related to collections and exhibitions platforms, ensuring that staff are equipped to use the platforms effectively
- Act as a liaison to ensure seamless data flow between collections systems and Salesforce, facilitating integration and improving reporting capabilities
- Collaborate across departments to develop workflows that optimize the use of collections and exhibitions systems, addressing the specific needs of curatorial, registration, and operations teams
- Create and provide regular reports and insights by leveraging data from integrated systems (TMS, Orange Logic, Salesforce) to support exhibitions, loans, and collections management
- Supervise and assist in data entry projects, ensuring that all collections and exhibitions data is accurate, up to date, and properly integrated across platforms
- Oversee people management functions, including day-to-day tasks, providing feedback, and supporting the development of any supervised staff members
- Assist in managing project timelines related to system updates and enhancements, ensuring smooth collaboration with IT, curatorial, registration, and operations teams

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in museum studies, art history, library science, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in collections and exhibitions data management in a museum or cultural institution
- Proficiency in TMS (The Museum System) or similar collections management systems
- Experience with Salesforce is required, particularly with managing data accuracy, integrations, and connectors across platforms
- Experience managing Share Point or similar document-sharing platforms
- Experience collaborating with IT, operations, and managing system-related projects
- Strong database management skills and attention to detail
- Basic people management skills, including task delegation, performance feedback, and professional development support
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments to optimize system workflows

Work environment: Work will be performed in an office environment full-time. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. Some overnight travel may be necessary on occasion.
