The Accountant will contribute to the production of monthly management information, accounting and reporting for CSC including preparation of management accounts, budgets, forecasts and analysis.

Some of the things you will be doing:

Partner with the Senior Accountant to post daily, monthly, quarterly, and other non-recurring journal entries
Key contributor to month end close
Prepare monthly reconciliations and entries as related to fixed assets for CSC
Prepare internal facing reports for management
Prepare external facing reports
Assist with the preparation of reports and dashboards and answer questions to finance and business leaders.
Establish and maintain appropriate financial process routines and internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial results and improve operational efficiency.
Support the year end audits by assisting the Senior Accountant with all assigned questions and queries from the auditors.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with management and business leaders.
Month end process experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and understand financial concepts and impacts of entries and reconciliations performed.
Excellent Excel Skills
Knowledge of GAAP a plus
Knowledge of IFRS a plus
Knowledge of Oracle EBS a plus
