JOB TITLE
Weekend Refuse Collection Operative (with Christmas cover)
(Sat-Sun, 8hrs/day)
LOCATION
Covering Anglesey, Conwy, Gwynedd and the LLyn Peninsular in our brand new, specially designed waste collection van! Ideally, you will be located near Caernarfon where our van is kept.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The main tasks include (but are not limited to):
Finest Retreats is a holiday lettings agent focused on delivering a five-star service to our cottage owners and guests. We’re a small, friendly team who work incredibly hard to deliver bookings and also organise changeovers and maintenance with a brilliant housekeeping team across the UK.
ABOUT YOU
You will be a genuine team player who will share our passion for great service.
You’ll be driving our 3.5 tonne truck around the most scenic parts of Wales, so an excellent driving record is a must.
You will be representing us out on the road so you will need to be friendly, courteous and happy to chat with owners or guests who you meet. You will enjoy driving on your own but being in regular contact with our operations team in the office.
THE DETAILS
Hours: 16 hours per week, on weekends only (with additional hours over the festive period to assist with cover).
£24,000 - £26,000 salary pro-rata, depending on experience.
32 days holiday per year pro-rata.
Your birthday off.
Extra day’s holiday per year of service.

- Driving around the countryside and narrow lanes collecting bin bags from holiday cottages in our company van.
- Disposing of the bin bags at the waste transfer station.
- Using an app to log collections and follow routes.
- Reporting any issues to office staff by Whats App or email
