Established in 1988 to work with children and young people who have experienced challenges in life, Moore House Group has developed into a growing and dynamic organisation providing a range of services including Moore House Academy Dunkeld. Working in partnership with teaching staff, the postholder will contribute to the effectiveness of the Academy to the benefit of the children and young people, including meeting key learning objectives and a clear understanding of support strategies for the children and young people they are working with. The role of Support for Learning Assistant can be emotionally and physically challenging at times, so it is essential that the postholer is resilient and possesses the emotional intelligence to handle challenging situations, as well as being empathetic to individual needs and communication difficulties of the children and young people at the Academy.
