We are now looking for a Senior Operations Administrator to join the University on a full time basis, permanent basis, working 37 hours over 7 days a week. - THE ROLE – The post holder will have responsibility for and/or general oversight of particular aspects of the administration within the Directorate. Post holder will be required to place a strong emphasis on the provision of high-quality administrative support and customer service - ABOUT YOU – To be considered for this role, you will need: - Educated to HND or degree level (preferably in chosen field) or has demonstrable experience - ILM Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience - Previous experience in providing high quality, faced paced administrative support - Previous experience dealing with Estates and Facilities administration and contractor control - Previous experience of preparing documents for audit - Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels - Experience with contract management and negotiations - Ability to demonstrate effective organisational skills - Ability to meet tight deadlines when required - A high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages. - The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh It would also be beneficial if you have: - Experience of working in Higher Education - BENEFITS – - Annual leave entitlement is 28 days’ annual leave per year, plus 8 bank holidays and 4 University closure days Our comprehensive pay and benefits package includes: - Competitive pay and pay progression - Generous annual leave allowance including Christmas/New Year closure - Pension scheme membership from USS to provide benefits for you and your family - Access to a benefits and wellbeing platform, with a choice of benefits to suit your needs, including electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme and financial wellbeing services - Support for health and wellbeing, including access to on-campus sports facilities at discounted rates, occupational health, and counselling support services - Career and development opportunities, including support to gain further qualifications - Family-friendly policies that provide for flexible working, including enhanced paid maternity and paternity leave - Travel schemes, including the cycle to work scheme.
