SEN Children’s Key Worker / Classroom Assistant 16 hours per week
We are looking for someone to join our team amazing team! We run afterschool sessions for children with additional needs Age 4-12 years. Some of our children require 121 supervision. Your role will be as a key worker, looking after children on a 121 basis or a small group of children with a range of additional needs. The following hours are available. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3.15-6.30 Monday, Friday 1.45-5 Extra hours available in the school holidays and at weekends. £12.94 per hour Level 2 or 3 CCLD or equivalent essential
```Duties```
- Assist in the care and supervision of children in the setting
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Engage in age-appropriate activities and play with children
```Experience```
- Previous experience working with children, children with SEN preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and co-workers
- Patience, compassion, and a nurturing attitude towards children
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
