Security Receptionist
About the role
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Security Receptionist to join our team, working 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 7:15 am to 1:15 pm at a convenient city centre location with free parking. This role requires a good communicator with an eye for detail and a welcoming demeanour. If you are approachable, flexible and thrive in a dynamic environment where safety and customer service are top priorities, we want to hear from you!
Job Description
- Open and close the building daily, ensuring all security protocols are followed, including setting the intruder alarm
- Verify identification passes of staff and visitors, maintaining secure access and controlling entry and exit to the premises
- Meet and greet all visitors and staff with a friendly and professional demeanour, providing a welcoming first impression
- Handle general receptionist duties such as answering phone calls, managing inquiries and coordinating deliveries and appointments
- Monitor the reception area to ensure it remains tidy and organised, while also maintaining a vigilant presence for any security concerns
Essential Skills
- SIA - Desirable not essential
- Access to vehicle/good transport links
- RTW and 5yr checkable history
- Firm and assertive when required
- Good communicator
- Good attention to detail
