Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols at all times.
Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to ensure the safety of premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential hazards or security breaches.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while on duty.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is desirable.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A valid SIA security licence is required
