About the role
Site Security Officer Opportunity – Derbyshire
Are you an experienced Security Officer looking for a dynamic role? Do you have a valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle?
We’re looking for a Site Security Officer with a minimum of 2 years' experience, a valid SIA licence, and a full driving licence.
Key Details:
- Hours: 42+ hours per week, covering Days, Nights, and Weekends on a 4 on 4 off rotation
- Salary: £12.00 per hour + bank holiday incentives

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Manage visitor and contractor access to ensure safety and security on site.
- Patrols: Undertake route-planned patrols to monitor and secure designated areas.
- Safety Monitoring: Continuously monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems to maintain site safety.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to any site emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Client Compliance: Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by the client or site manager, adapting to the needs of the site.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols in various areas of the site, promoting a safe working environment.

Essential Skills
Job Essentials:
- SIA Licence
- Legal right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to remote location).
- Minimum of 2 years in a security role.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Basic computing skills.
