Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to fill the role of Gateman, working Monday to Friday weekend cover may be required on 1 out of 2 basis . The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and deliveries, ensuring smooth access to our premises while maintaining security protocols. This position is vital for upholding the safety and integrity of our site.
Duties

• Manage the entry and exit of vehicles and pedestrians, ensuring all individuals are logged appropriately.
• Maintain a clean and organised gate area, ensuring that all signage is visible and in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members and visitors, providing information as needed regarding site rules and regulations.
• Monitor surveillance equipment to ensure the security of the premises at all times.
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to management promptly.

Skills

• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient driving skills with a valid driver's licence, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with staff and visitors alike.
• Capability to maintain a professional demeanour in all interactions, representing the company positively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of security.

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60 – 72 per week
