Scheduler Team Leader

Kingspan Water & Energy, part of the Kingspan Group PLC, strives to be the industry leader in driving global change in the design and manufacture of sustainable ways of storing and protecting water and energy. The Scheduling Team Leader is responsible for the full day to day running of the scheduling team. They will also be responsible for the stock control and replacement stock for both internal and external engineers as outlined by the Engineer Manager and Service Business. They will work with other departments to improve scheduling efficiencies and help assist in the optimisation and required changes to the system where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse service delivery processes, route management and engineering activity to help identify changes and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure engineering productivity and efficiencies are achieved and KPI targets are delivered by Scheduling team.
  • Assist engineer management with daily and weekly reporting to monitor scheduling performance
  • Improve Customer Service Feedback from the scheduling NPS Survey and put an action in to improve process or make recommendations to improve the customer experience.
  • Ensure company lead time targets are achieved and report any short falls to engineer manager or coverage issues.
  • Ensure planned maintenance targets are met and planned in line with customer service contract.
  • Provide weekly updates to engineer manager on scheduling performance.
  • Meet with management and advise on areas of improvement to improve productivity.
  • Feedback any engineering or sub-contractor related issues to engineer managers.
  • Participate in projects as required to bring about continuous improvement within the service department.
  • Maintain and promote a compliance culture throughout the organisation to ensure the highest levels of integrity, honesty and professionalism.
  • Promote the highest possible standards of health, safety, environmental, quality and product compliance, ensuring that compliance is an integral part of the business and our requirements and procedures.
  • Report to engineer management weekly on engineer skill gaps effecting scheduling resource.
Compliance
  • All personnel shall be compliant with all requirements relevant to their role in the Integrated Management System (IMS) within their business.
  • All personnel shall actively contribute to the effectiveness of the Site’s IMS system, report any concerns, issues, and failures, participate in trainings as required and support compliance culture.
  • Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against personnel who violate the Site’s IMS obligations, policies, processes, and procedures.
Essential Criteria
  • Previous experience working within a logistics/scheduling role
  • A working knowledge of LN or alternative scheduling software
  • Excellent planning skills
  • I.T Literate (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent customer care & communication skills
  • Well organised with a good attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure
  • Be able to demonstrate initiative when dealing with situations and completing tasks
  • Critical thinker
  • Team player
Desirable Criteria
  • Supervisor experience and proven record on delivering performance results and working under pressure
