Operational Scheduler


Join Our Team as an Operational Scheduler!
Are you passionate about making a difference in the social care sector? Do you have a knack for scheduling and logistics? We are seeking Operational Schedulers to support our Operational teams in effectively managing staff schedules across all our services.
About the Role:
As an Operational Scheduler, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our teams are efficiently matched with individuals requiring support. You will support our Operational teams by working alongside them and the Business Information Manager to plan and co-ordinate staffing rotas to support people who use our services. You will manage time and attendance, track annual leave, and input essential data into our scheduling system (Tagtronics). Your skills will help create schedules that enhance service delivery while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
We are ideally seeking two individuals to job share this role each for three days per week; however, we will also consider applicants interested in a full-time position, so please be sure to outline your preference in your cover letter.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule visits and rotas, resolving conflicts and maximising efficiencies.
  • Monitor annual leave and project usage over the year.
  • Provide Tagtronics App access to staff and families for viewing support timetables.
  • Assist operational managers in scheduling staff supervisions and support time.
  • Plan assessments, reviews, and spot checks according to expectations.
  • Report gaps in support feedback and develop practical solutions for service inefficiencies.
  • Ensure accuracy for invoicing and payroll processes.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in managing rotas and support scheduling systems.
    • Ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in Health and Social Care.
    • Excellent team player who can prioritise workload effectively.
    • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, MS Teams) and CRM databases.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A commitment to inclusivity and positive change in the workplace.
