This beautiful grade II listed building and former HQ of the Port of London Authority has 100 rooms, 41 residential apartments of which 31 units are in a FS run transient rental program, a stunning ballroom which has hosted the inaugural Reception of the United Nations, 5 meeting rooms, a stunning destination spa with 6 treatment rooms, hammam, steam, sauna and swimming and vitality pool, and a fantastic Food and Beverage offering including La Dame de Pic (French cuisine, 2*Michelin Star), Mei Ume (Chinese/ Japanese cuisine) and Rotunda (all day dinning, afternoon tea & bar).

to join the team!
About Mei Ume :
Mei Ume offers traditional Chinese and Japanese dishes with a modern approach. Showcasing two of the greatest Asian cuisines under one roof, the restaurant menu includes a colourful selection of sushi, sashimi and dim sum, as well as Chinese main course dishes. Head Chef Peter H and his team constantly develop and evolve their unique dishes in the restaurant’s innovative environment.

About the role of Server in Mei Ume :
The Server is responsible for offering guests of the restaurant an enjo yable, expertly served beverage and dining experience. This individual must be comfortable discussing food and wine choices with guests in detail. The Server will be responsible for setting up tables, serving food and beverage to guests, and clearing/cleaning tables.
The ideal Waiter/Waitress candidate will have:

At le ast one year’s experience as a Waiter/Waitress
-
Knowledge of Asian cuisine beneficial but not required
-
Passion for service
-
Good communications skills with a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
-
Attention to detail and ability to work in a high paced environment
