We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
Answer phone calls promptly and handle inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
Manage reservations and ensure accurate data entry into the hotel management system.
Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
Address guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction.
Process check-outs efficiently and handle payment transactions.
Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and tidy at all times.
Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Experience
Previous experience in a hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
Strong guest service skills with a proven ability to handle various situations calmly and effectively.
Proficiency in using hotel management software is an advantage
A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
