Would you like to support Bristol Carers? An opportunity on a fixed term basis has arisen for a full-time Customer Service Officer within the Integrated carers team.
We are a small team of Social workers, Social care practitioners, Customer support Officers, A Senior Practitioner and an Occupational therapist, Team Manager who aim to promote the wellbeing of Bristol Carers.
The Integrated Carers team supports unpaid carers with advice, signposting and completes assessments (including section 42 safeguarding enquiries) and reviews. We offer a range of support to meet Bristol Carers outcome’s and support their wellbeing and this includes working with our Trusted assessor partners including the Carers Support Centre, Bristol Black carers, Chinese Community Wellbeing Society and Rethink across the city. We also focus on the cared for person and give advice and information about available support including tech, OT assessments, and benefits advice.
The role of Customer Service officer would largely consist of answering incoming enquiries from Carers and other professionals, offering signposting and guidance, and processing the Trusted Assessments sent through by our partners as mentioned above.

For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.
For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.
