Requirements & Responsibilities The primary focus for this role is to take control of the company’s financial management and playing a key role in the smooth operation of the office. Duties will include:
Processing purchase invoices
Processing sales activity
Reconciling bank accounts
Liaising with client suppliers and making payments
Processing accruals, prepayments and depreciation
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Maintaining fixed asset registers
Processing payrolls
Processing VAT returns
Assisting with preparation of personal tax returns
Assisting with preparation of schedules for year end work for multiple client types
Experience with Xero and Dext an advantage
Skills, Knowledge & Experience To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping and office management. Ideal candidates will be proficient in accounting software (preferably Xero), as well as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office management tools. We are looking for individuals with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. -Strong track record delivering monthly operational business targets (KPI’s) and implementing continuous improvement measures -Resilient, very self-motivated with strong leadership experience -Excellent IT skills, including MS office applications and ERP systems -Experience in negotiating with suppliers -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast paced, team orientated environment The Next Step… Click apply, submitting an up-to-date CV tailored to this job opportunity.
