Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a keen understanding of food safety practices.
Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders in a friendly manner.
Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible service of alcohol.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices at all times.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service is essential.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
