Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers by preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanour will be essential to your success in this role.
Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for payments.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment and assist each other as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
• A friendly attitude with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.50-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
