Job Description
SPAR Steel seeking a Welding Supervisor / QAQC. This role requires someone who has experience in a similar environment, where they are leading continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining OH&S standards and driving quality standards in conjunction with a daily production schedule. Core responsibilities of this role will include:

Provide quality control and welding supervision for both site and workshop works;
Promote and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures;
Ensure best trade practices are performed in accordance with the relevant welding standards and specifications;
Ensure all QA/QC inspections and testing is performed in accordance with the relevant Quality Plan;
Maintaining Company Standards for Quality Assurance purposes;
Manage the welding and QA systems.

Appropriate Trade Certificates/s;
Experience in a similar role;
Ability to read technical drawings;
Thorough understanding of International Welding Standards;
Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence people in a positive manner.
