Job Purpose: As a Quality Assurance Auditor for Airport Operations , you will ensure the effective implementation of standards for Ground Handling, and Cargo, supporting our Global Quality Management System (d QMS) and compliance programme across multiple countries in the Global Airport Operations network. You will perform audits, provide global oversight, and contribute to quality initiatives by offering technical expertise and guidance to Airport Operations entities. Additionally, you will independently report on and monitor adherence to internal standards and international aviation regulatory compliance requirements.
In this role, you will
- Assist the Quality and Compliance manager in supporting the implementation and maintenance of the global Quality Management System, for review, publication, development and maintaining awareness on processes, systems and tools
- Facilitate and provide training and support on the utilisation of the dnata Hub platform (Governance Risk Compliance system) ensuring the documentation and all audit findings are captured into the system, and the Corrective and Preventive Actions process is followed and compliant
- Develop, update and distribute audit checklists for audits and ensure the effective use of the audit tools, with regular updates, and oversight
- Provide direction, problem solving, and share updates internally on the Quality initiatives during forums, and business reviews and visits
- Adhere to the Global Quality Audit programme standards and conduct audits onsite visits as per the audit calendar (Travel overseas is required on a regular basis). Ensure timely submission of audit reports to relevant stakeholders
- Review and oversee the root cause, Corrective and Preventive Actions plans (CAPA) submitted by auditees ensuring adequate actions are taken, from various stakeholders in order to close audit findings
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly CAPA reviews and compliance results
- Provide monthly KPI reports to highlight shortcomings to the Global Operational Team and to the business units
- Utilise and/or develop reporting dashboard and analyse, provide monthly KPI reports to highlight shortcomings to the Global Operational Team and to the business units
- Support the Quality and Compliance manager with the certifications process, and global initiatives, such as with gap analysis, review of procedures and oversight to ensure effective preparation, implementation and continuous improvement
- Coordinate the procurement of IATA manuals for the global teams with the relevant departments
Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years’ experience in Aviation/Ground handling company/Airlines/Aviation services business
- Audit experience minimum 3-5 years
- Fluency in both written and spoken English are essential
- Certified and qualified Lead Quality Auditor, and knowledgeable with standards and procedures
- Excellent communication – written and verbal – and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively individually and within multi cultural teams, adapt to business environment and build relationships
- Excellent knowledge in Quality Management System, audit methodology and standards (i.e. ISO, AHM, IGOM, ICHM, ISAGO)
- Excellent listening and analytical skills
- Professional to critical assess, objectivity (open-minded), and good judgment
- Meticulous and detailed orientated
- Results driven, problem solving skills (root cause analysis) and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Ability to promote the value of internal audit and drive global quality system deliverables among key stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills to be effective in time management in a busy environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, KPI management, auditing tools
- Adapt to existing, and emerging technologies Governance Risk Compliance platform (GRC) and develop learning solutions
