Key Responsibilities of the Steward
Maintain Cleanliness and Order: Ensure all kitchen and dining areas are kept spotless, following health and safety standards rigorously.
Support Kitchen and Dining Staff: Assist chefs and servers by promptly carrying out tasks such as cleaning utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment.
Manage Waste Disposal: Efficiently handle waste management tasks to maintain hygiene and order within the kitchen.
Inventory Assistance: Support inventory processes by ensuring kitchen items are organized and properly stocked.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure cleaning machinery and other equipment are well-maintained and report any malfunctions to management for quick resolution.
Qualifications and Skills Required for the Steward Role
