Spare Parts Purchaser (Al Sajah Market)

The Used Parts Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing used automotive parts to support the service and repair operations of the dealership. This role involves building relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring the quality and compatibility of parts procured.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of used automotive parts.
  • Negotiate purchase terms and conditions to obtain the best value for the dealership.
  • Ensure timely procurement of parts to meet service and repair schedules.
  • Inspect and verify the quality and compatibility of used parts.
  • Ensure all parts meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts purchased and their sources.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
  • Conduct regular supplier assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and reliability.
  • Coordinate with the inventory team to manage stock levels of used parts.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of all used parts in the inventory system.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete parts and develop strategies to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Work closely with the service and repair teams to understand their parts requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on parts selection and usage.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to overall dealership goals.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive parts procurement or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, their applications, and industry standards.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using inventory management systems and procurement software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy parts as needed.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with suppliers and inspect part.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
