Warehouse Supervisor - Automobile Spare Parts
The Warehouse Supervisor for Automobile Spare Parts is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective storage, inventory management, and distribution of automobile spare parts. This role includes supervising a team of warehouse workers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records of all warehouse activities.

- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse workers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of automobile spare parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using softwares.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Operations Management:
- Plan and organize warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the integrity of spare parts.
- Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or defective products.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and productivity metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and transactions.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the automobile spare parts industry.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
