Service Crew

Customer Service:
Job Summary:
The Service Crew must make sure an exceptional customer service in a restaurant or food service setting. This position involves interacting with guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
  • Provide menus and explain daily specials or promotions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and assist with menu selection.
Order Management:
  • Accurately take and input customer orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Communicate orders effectively to kitchen staff and ensure timely service.
Food and Beverage Service:
  • Serve food and drinks to customers at their tables.
  • Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction and offer additional items.
Cleanliness and Organization:
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas, including tables, floors, and restrooms.
  • Set up and clear tables promptly and efficiently.
Payment Processing:
  • Present bills to customers and process payments, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  • Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods according to restaurant policies.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with kitchen staff and fellow crew members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist colleagues during busy periods to maintain high service standards.
Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Ensure that food safety practices are adhered to throughout service.
Customer Feedback:
  • Listen to and address customer feedback or complaints professionally.
  • Report significant issues to management for resolution.
Inventory Support:
  • Help monitor stock levels of supplies and report needs to supervisors.
  • Participate in inventory checks as required.
Continuous Learning:
  • Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and service procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance service skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and cash.
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
