Restaurant Supervisor

Job Summary :
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves managing staff, coordinating activities, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in achieving business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
  • Supervise and train staffs.
  • Schedule shifts and manage staff
Customer Service:
  • Ensure exceptional service standards are met at all times.
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all diners.
Operations Oversight:
  • Assist in the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor service flow and ensure timely food and beverage delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
Inventory Management:
  • Assist in inventory tracking and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate with suppliers regarding inventory needs.
Financial Responsibilities:
  • Help manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate reporting of daily sales.
  • Assist in controlling labor and operational costs to meet budgetary goals.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
Reporting:
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to sales, staff performance, and customer feedback.
  • Analyze operational performance and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
