What are we looking for?

2-3 years of experience as a Hostess or in Customer Service in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
Fluent in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Proficient in using reservation systems and managing booking schedules.
Knowledge of French Cuisine and Culture: Familiarity with French dining etiquette, menu items, and cultural nuances.
Passion for driving exceptional levels of customer service.
Presentable & well groomed.
Quick thinker, able to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.

What will you do?

Welcome guests in a cheery, welcoming manner.
Managing seating arrangements, waitlists, and ensuring smooth guest flow.
Handling multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality of service.
Handle guest queries/complaints.
Remain aware of incoming VIP's/Special Guests.
Take incoming calls on Bord Eau restaurant service phone promptly.
Maintain Positive Guest Relations.
Accomodate guest requests for change curteously.
Assist Bord Eau team & other Shangri-La colleagues where possible.
