Project Manager
Job Description:
1. Organize and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Planning for construction processes to complete the project on time.
3. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
5. Resource Allocation & Staff Management.
6. Monitoring progress to identify whether or not the project is on target to finish on time and within budget and safety regulations.
7. Ensuring that tasks are delegated effectively and staffs remain motivated to complete the project to a high standard.
8. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
9. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
10. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
11. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques, coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
12. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
13. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
14. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. 1
5. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
16. Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skills sets and experience levels.
17. Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long term goals.
18. Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, A Master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, SAP, Autocad, Revit, etc.) and familiarity with construction management tools.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate and address challenges proactively.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED13,000.00 per month
