We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to our procurement team and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the procurement team in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating prices.
Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement documents.
Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and products that meet our quality and cost requirements.
Preparing and processing purchase orders and ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained.
Tracking and monitoring inventory levels and assisting in inventory management.
Communicating with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and providing timely updates on the status of orders.
Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and ensuring timely resolution of any issues or disputes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role in an Events Services Companies.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
