The Inter Continental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotels. These include the luxury brand Inter Continental, the lavish long-stay Inter Continental Residence Suites, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1600 rooms, the four properties boast a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by Inter Continental, the luxurious Spa Inter Continental, and state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day
- Being knowledgeable with facilities, activities, equipment, services and other pertinent information in order to provide our young guest and parents with accurate information
- Develop and schedule creative programming for Kids Club participants in an environment conducive to growth and development.
- Ensure kids amenities and towels are always readily available.
- Conduct kids activities and services for in house guest and members young guests while giving proper instruction and safety reminders
- Make sure that the Kids Club is well maintained and clean
- Provide a safe and health Kids club environment
- Meet and greet all guests, and potential guests, at the front of the Restaurant & Kids Club by ensuring the following
- Ensure the Restaurant & Kids Club is ready to receive guests prior to opening and that both wait staff and tables are ready in line with opening standards
- Ensure Restaurant & Kids Club operating equipment is clean and in working order
- Maintaining impeccable uniform and personal presentation standards in accordance with hotel policy
- Be attentive to guests and resolve their complaints where possible, reporting all incidents to your Supervisor
- Maintain responsibility of cleanliness of Kids Club
- Maintain responsibility of cleanliness of all equipment and toys
- Undertakes to maintain qualifications as deemed necessary by the Hotel, ensures the safe management of the kids club environment. Including but not limited to First Aid Certification.
- Understands and strictly adheres to the Rules & Regulations established in the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, and Health & Safety.
- Take initiative always to ensure guest safety and satisfaction, being flexible with taking on other responsibilities as and when required by the hotel operation.
What we need from you
- Previous 1 year experience in a kids club facility or similar role in a 4* or 5* hotel or equivalent.
- Fluent English language communication skills is required, in addition to creativity and outgoing personality.
