F&B Bar Supervisor - InterContinental Abu Dhabi
We are looking for an experienced and passionate F&B Bar Supervisor to join our team. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guest dining experiences meet the highest standards of luxury and excellence. A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly:
- Oversee daily Food & Beverage operations, ensuring top-tier service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
- Manage inventory, orders, and supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality beverages and exceptional service
- Train, mentor, and motivate the bar staff to maintain top performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a pristine environment.
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop new beverage offerings and promotions
- Gain understanding of the departmental goals and financial targets and support your Line Manager to achieve these targets.
- Conduct on the job training in accordance with the departmental standards and procedures and maintains a record of progress for each staff member.
- Ensure new staff complete their Orientation program on a timely basis.
- Assist with the preparation of efficient departmental work schedules.
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback to ensure a memorable bar experience.
- Being attentive to guests and anticipate guest’s needs.
- Accurately and promptly fulfilling guests' requests.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the guest experience.
- Demonstrating a ‘service’ attitude.
- Taking appropriate action to resolve guest complaints.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a high-end bar or restaurant
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of beverage preparation, including cocktails, wines, and spirits
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service and creating unforgettable dining experiences.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with POS systems and related software.
