Commis 1
We are seeking a talented and experienced Commis 1 Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Continental, Chinese cuisine, with a passion for delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, maintaining consistency and quality.
Assist senior chefs in the preparation of food for various cuisines, including Continental, and Chinese.
Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and comply with food hygiene standards.
Monitor stock and inform the head chef of any shortages.
Follow all kitchen health and safety procedures.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and smooth service.
Requirements:
Proven experience as Commis 1 or similar position in a high-volume kitchen.
Specialization in Continental, Chinese, and Asian cuisines is essential.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a reputed hotel or restaurant.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Passionate about food and eager to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
