Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards, ensuring consistency and high quality.
- Station Management: Manage and organize your designated section of the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory for your section, and report any shortages or issues to the Head Chef.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the kitchen team, training and supervising junior staff as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the restaurant’s high standards, adjusting seasoning and presentation as necessary.
- Health & Safety Compliance:Adhere to food hygiene and safety regulations, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise in your section during service, including equipment malfunctions or ingredient shortages.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of food preparation.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
