TFT Tobacco Processing Instructor
Position:
In this role, you will train and support JT Group personnel to work in the tobacco processing area, which includes operational and mechanical aspects. You will be working on machinery, quality, and safety KPI improvement projects together with a local factory team.
Based on requirements and requests, you may be requested to provide pure support; in which you will operate and fix tobacco processing equipment effectively, as well as support different technical projects, TNA (training needs analysis), and provide training to factories employees. The given position assumes that an employee may be assigned for business trips at the direction of the employer for a specific time to perform duty assignments away from the permanent place of work (utilization up to 50-75 % of the calendar year).
Responsibilities:
Provide technical training and support for solving issues in Global Supply Chain production environment (tobacco processing), including machinery performance, quality and safety. Work with local teams for improvement of relevant KPIs.
Participate in developing and implementing measures, plans and projects on technical training efficiency improvement within the employee’s functional scope.
Study of new modifications of tobacco processing equipment and their differences from the existing equipment, preparing required technical documentation and instructional guidelines.
Support development and deliver technical trainings to JT Group personnel in tobacco processing area according to factories/locations requests and TFT schedule.
Prepare and timely provide reports related to technical support and training activities in compliance with the policies, procedures and instructions
Establish and maintain relations with TFT Instructors and supervisors as well as MTC (Japan) colleagues, within project work. Create, ensure quality of, and share knowledge effectively in area of expertise. Support factories in educating local staff in IWS related subjects.
Ensure primary equipment is well maintained and kept in the proper operational mode. Maintain 5S3R and Safety standards accordingly. Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures to keep workplace healthy and safe.
Requirements:
Vocational High School (higher or teaching education shall be an advantage)
5 years of experience in the tobacco industry, strong knowledge of tobacco processing equipment
Basic knowledge of English (higher language proficiency is an advantage)
Good knowledge of MS Office applications
