QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Business Administration,
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management,
- Good understanding of Supply Chain practices, mainly import&export operations and procurement,
- SAP knowledge is an asset,
- Good communication skills,
- Proficiency in MS Office,
- Good command of written & spoken English,
- No military obligation for male candidates,
- No travel restrictions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
For our Paper Mill in Corlu, we are looking for an Import Specialist. This role will be responsible for;
- Ensure smooth operation of the import process (customs clearance, transportation, insurance, etc.) for waste paper, chemicals, and technical materials (spare parts, equipment, machines).
- Coordinate all import operations in close communication with the Customs Agency.
- Coordinate local and international transportation and follow up on shipments from international suppliers.
- Closely monitor orders to ensure timely completion of goods receipt. - Follow up on payments to suppliers and other local costs (such as customs clearance taxes and transportation cost invoices).
- Maintain and archive customs declarations and all other import documents.
- Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis of imported goods and prepare monthly reports.
- Export technical equipment abroad for overhaul/maintenance and import them back to Turkey.
