As an Advanced Field Service Engineer, your focus will be driving the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems, and lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support to customers in industries such as petroleum, smelting, chemical, and high-tech sectors.
Handle the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas detectors.
Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure high-quality and timely service, resolving any technical issues encountered on-site.
Document and report on field service activities, including issues encountered, solutions provided, and customer feedback.
Conduct in-house repairs, including diagnosing, repairing, and performance testing of gas detection equipment.
Ensure all repair work meets company and industry quality standards.
Provide technical training to customers and internal staff to ensure proper usage and maintenance of the products.
Develop and update technical documentation and training materials.
Offer product improvement suggestions based on field experience to help enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
Support the R&D team with testing and feedback on new products.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of field service or repair experience in a related industry. Experience with gas detectors or similar products is preferred.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in industries such as petroleum and chemical.
Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with customers and internal teams.
Willingness to travel frequently and work independently.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
