ROLE DEFINITION
Du Pont Semiconductor Technologies has an opening for a Account Manager in the Advanced Cleans & Slurry Technologies (ACST) business. Du Pont ACST, a leader in the wet fabrication solutions for semiconductor industry, develops cleaning solutions and slurries for chemical mechanical planarization (CMP). While offering top-quality solutions for post-etch & post-CMP cleans and CMP slurries, Du Pont ACST is actively advancing projects on selective etchants and EUV related cleaning technologies.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Account Manager to expand Du Pont ACST’s market presence at semiconductor fabs. This role entails managing the day-to-day technical and sales engagement with the fab customers, collaborating with internal R&D and Marketing functions and gaining understanding of the customers’ requirements and roadmap. The successful candidate will introduce new products, validate value propositions and optimize supply chain and logistics to provide cost-effective solutions for the customers. With a first-hand understanding of the semiconductor industry and the ability to connect customers’ unmet needs with Du Pont’s offerings in cleans, slurries and etchants products, the Account Manager will work to create win/win situation for both customers and Du Pont.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Champion customer advocacy, representing their needs within Du Pont.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with customers across various levels and functions including Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality.
  • Identify and address unmet customers’ needs with Du Pont’s cleans, slurries and etchants products.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of Du Pont’s cleans, slurries and etchants products and stay current with technological advancements.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Du Pont teams including Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operation, Quality, R&D and Marketing.
  • Manage and own customer communications on behalf of Du Pont.
  • Travel regularly to customer sites to understand customers’ unmet needs and market situations

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in science and engineering, preferably in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical or commercial experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in wet cleans, wet etchants, or CMP slurries (sales experience is not a prerequisite for this role).
  • Flexibility to travel within Taiwan (up to 50%).
  • Ability to work independently from home with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment and network with peers.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholders to create mutual value.
