Lead and drive the Retail Training program for EMEA, with a strategic approach. Provide retail employees with exceptional product and operational training by meeting their individual needs and expectations, as well as serving as a "Brand Ambassadors" by promoting the philosophy and values of the brand.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage Retail employees’ training & development plan in all its aspects:
Act as a reliable partner for Country and Retail Leadership to identify store's training needs and to develop proper training solutions. Having a retail facing role, carry out Training Store Visits and nurture local relations with all business stakeholders at EMEA level;
Indipendently manage the planning, design & creation of new training content and materials in new innovative, smart, modern and tailor-made way, aligned with company strategy and goals, making use of all methods, tools and channels available;
Coordinate the Retail Training team.
Manage the retail training budget in the development of all training plans, as well as management of external training providers;
Manage the planning, implementation and facilitation of the company's retail training programs in order to increase brand Product Knowledge and Customer Service, elevate the brand awareness among store staff, improve training efforts and ultimately increase sales, with focus also on store KPIs and performance improvements, team coaching and development, etc.;
Coordinate Store Manager Trainer program, working with the European store managers and retail leadership to design an in-store training plan and schedule;
Ensure all new retail hires are fully trained in all areas of store operations and client experience, through proper onboarding programs.
Monitor training efficacy through surveys and other ROI and efficacy analysis methods;
Coordinate update and management of My Academy App and manage the administation of Product Knowledge and Customer Service Training on the Guess training platform;
Work in team with the US Training team and all EU product lines, businesses and departments at corporate, as well as local HR, Retail and leadership teams in all EU countries;
Contribute to cross HR/Training processes, including the performance assessment process, Employer Branding projects, etc.; Teamwork spirit with all HR functions;
Requirements
Availability to travel and visit our retail stores
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably in HR, Training & Development or Communication, Social Sciences, etc.)
5-8 years’ experience in similar roles in retail companies, preferably with previous in store training experience
International background is a plus
Proficiency knowledge of English language (both written and spoken). Any additional language is a plus
Knowledge of MS-Office (in particular Power Point and Excel), any additional operational system or graphic or video competence (like In Design, Photoshop, video editing, animations) is a plus
Must possess leadership skills and be precise, well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
Strong multi-tasking skills, ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment
Excellent knowledge of digital and social media
Strong passion in the fashion industry
