We are looking for an experienced profile to manage our Regional HR Europe team. The team is responsible for employee life cycle, talent acquisition, support to business leaders on performance management and employee relations, ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, payroll and benefits administration and continues HR process improvement. This member of management role will be part of the HR Business unit, reporting to the Head of HR, with presence in Zug, London, and Luxembourg but also covering the other Europe Offices (Guernsey, Milan, Munich and Paris).
Responsibilities include leading and managing the Regional HR team in its day-to-day activities, while implementing system, tools, process and control enhancements as well as servicing of various client requests.
Key areas of the function will be:
Leading and managing the Regional HR Europe team in its day-to-day activities
Supervising and coaching team members, ensuring knowledge transfer across the teams
Ensuring compliance with local labour laws and staying abreast of legislation changes
Leading and guiding the team in optimizing HR processes and tasks related to the employee lifecycle to ensure efficiency
Administering all HR operation processes, related systems, and documentation
Managing external providers and budgets related to HR operations
Managing complex HR operational concerns and acting as the escalation point prior to Head of HR
Providing advice and instruction to employees on HR matters
Implementing and driving process, policy, and document upgrades
Managing complex employee relation cases and legal matters, escalating more complex issues as needed
What we expect
Proven experience working in HR Operations or a related field for at least 8-10 years with increasing levels of responsibility, degree in HR or a related field
Leadership skills with experience in leading and guiding a team
Proven experience in managing projects relating to process, systems, and/ or control improvements and thereby proven track of highly organized and structured work approach with strong understanding of HR processes
Strong interpersonal skills for effectively supporting and advising employees and businesses on HR matters
Effective communication and presentation skills while collaborating, communicating and presenting to stakeholders across different functions and all levels of seniority in an international setting,
Experience in coaching more junior members, while providing proactive, constructive upward and downward feedback
Proficiency in English required; proficiency in German preferred
