What it's about The Private Equity Internship is an opportunity for a young professional with top credentials to launch into a career with a world-leading Private Equity buy-out manager and join their investment team. As part of this internship, you will support the Private Equity Services buy-out team on all aspects related to sourcing and execution of private equity investments and portfolio management:
Assessing and valuing prospective investment opportunities
Modeling business plans, LBO structures and investment returns
Participating actively in due diligence workstreams on prospective investments (e.g. financial, commercial, ESG, tax and legal due diligence)
Conducting various other tasks related to sourcing, market research, product reporting and marketing
We are looking for a candidate to join the team in September 2024 or January 2025 for 4-6 months.
What we expect
Top performing students in the final phase of their study at a leading university, majoring in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics)
Ideally initial experience in Private Equity, M&A, Strategy Consulting, Leveraged Finance or Transaction Services
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent teamwork skills within international settings (several European languages will be considered a plus)
A high energy level coupled with a strong desire to learn and succeed, along with an impeccable work ethic and a professional demeanor
