The Fdration Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) is the governing body of motor sport and the federation of the world's leading motoring organisations. The FIA is an international non-profit association.
OVERVIEW:
Within the new FIA Project Management Department, the project manager will play a dual role in managing and coordinating cross-functional projects, while also supporting the head of department in developing of the unit. In doing so, the future project manager will play an important role in the transformation of the FIA.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Transversal project management / coordination
- Organising and structuring transversal and performance office projects.
- Coordinating project activities and facilitating project progress.
- Scheduling and leading steering and project committees, writing minutes and communicating with various stakeholders.
- Preparing detailed reports and presentations on project status and deliverables for the project sponsor.
- Managing change and organising project reviews.
Support to the head of development of department's services
- Work closely with the head of department to develop the 3 main PMO services:
-Project support - providing guidelines and advice to project managers, project manager support or project leadership.
-Portfolio management - developing trusting relationships with all FIA staff to regularly receive information on projects in order to create an appropriate portfolio and monitor project progress.
-Training and tools support - developing training materials and providing training to various audiences and implementing project management / collaborative tools within the FIA.
- Work closely with the head of department and the chief performance officer on other organisational subjects, such as FIA process formalisation and improvement.
PROFILE:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
•Minimum of 4 years' experience in project coordination/management and portfolio management is required. Experience in a consulting firm is advantageous. •Possession of relevant certifications in project or programme management and/or change management is required.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.
- Full proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, resilience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to self-development, driving strategic projects forward.
- A strong background in a multi-project environment.
- Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential; another language would be a plus.
