OVERVIEW
The Sport Communications Coordinator will be responsible for a broad range of administrative and communications tasks across the Sport Communications Department. Reporting to the Sport Communications Managers, the role will provide the opportunity to develop various media and communications skills and will involve travel between the FIA's three headquarters as well as occasional travel to institutional and motor sport events. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate initiative in analysing and proposing communications strategies for grassroots motor sport championships and events.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES
Administrative tasks
- Management of the editorial calendar.
- Updating shared briefing documents.
- Preparation of meetings, meeting minutes and documents.
- Agenda management, internal meeting organisation.
- Departmental expense reporting and invoice preparation. General Communications
- Writing copy for institutional projects and events, as well as motor sport events.
- Supporting the coordination of requirements related to general or crossover projects.
- Contributing to the coordination and communication of the FIA digital assets.
- Uploading content to fia.com.
Safety Department Communications
- ASN Safety Bulletin distribution.
- Support on communications around safety topics for FIA championships.
Rally Communications (WRC, Regional Rally and Cross-Country championships)
- Supporting the WRC media accreditation process and managing event collection lists.
- Answering media requests related to WRC event operations and schedule.
- Contributing to the coordination of WRC media operations.
- Coordinating the local adaptation and deployment of the FIA Rally Spectator Safety and e-safety campaigns across WRC and ERC organisers.
- Supporting the Content Team with regard to news and press releases, website updates, reporting, press monitoring, interview transcripts, photo selections etc.
Formula E / FIA Motorsport Games / Esports Communications
- Managing the layout and distribution of the Formula E event previews.
- Supporting the FIA Motorsport Games Media Delegate on internal communication with National Sporting Authorities (ASNs) and the production of dedicated content about the nations competing nations.
- Coordination of editorial updates for both FIA-partnered Esports activities (such as i Racing Formula 4) and national Esports competitions organised by the ASNs.
PROFILE
- Bachelors Degree level in relevant academic subject(s) preferred / Professional licence or College diploma in communications, journalism.
- Professional experience related to communications (2+ years), ideally in the field of motor sport.
- Proficiency in Typeform, Monday.com, Cision an advantage.
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, website CMS Social media.

Fluent in English (strong writing and editing skills), another language would be a plus.
