The Patient Journey Partner (PJP) demonstrates personal purpose around improving the patient journey, as well as strong passion to bring value and impact on the ecosystem. The PJP thinks from an Enterprise level, beyond boundaries and borders, in order to bring the best possible outcomes to both the local health environment, and more broadly, across Roche globally.

Your challenges:

• You focus on bringing external perspectives and working with partners to uncover opportunities for redefining patient outcomes.
  
• You also bring Roche expertise and knowledge to the ecosystem by sharing internal insights and science
  
• As the primary point of contact and partner of trust for customers in Ophthalmology, you observe the entire patient journey, including indication, diagnosis, treatment landscape, patient potential, persona, and leaders with vision
  
• You are skilled at identifying common interests and needs with customers, and you collaborate with them and the Roche network to build solutions that benefit patients
  
• You steward Roche products, tests, and solutions throughout their entire life cycle, always adhering to compliance guidelines and applicable laws and regulations and focus on ensuring an excellent customer experience
  
• As a Patient Journey Partner, you launch and support value-adding projects for various customers mentioned earlier. You engage in scientific exchange and provide product-related information and consultation in a lawful, candid, and balanced manner. Additionally, you work with medical functions and facilitate cross-functional exchange of information and insights to advise medical activities
  

Who you are

As our ideal candidate you bring several years of experience in customer engagement with a proven track record to build, maintain and grow relationships and partnerships with various customers.

Furthermore you bring:

• As a system thinker and deep listener, you possess the ability to understand sophisticated dynamics and actively listen to various perspectives
  
• Your knowledge of the Ophthalmology market, including your understanding of your own products, competitors, potentials, and trends, enables you to make informed decisions and strategies
  
• Excellent customer engagement skills are important, as you partner with healthcare professionals (HCPs), pharmacists, and healthcare organizations (HCOs)
  
• Your experience in formulating cross-functional strategies and leading cross-functional teams is highly desired, allowing you to drive collaboration and alignment across different functions
  
• Strong eye for business is a key attribute, and expertise in commercialization, medical affairs, and customer experience excellence improves your ability to drive success
  
• You are adept at understanding and demonstrating digital tools and platforms to improve your work and engage with customers optimally
  
• Proficiency in German and English is required, and proficiency in French and/or Italian is a plus
