As the Strategy & Program Delivery Manager in this group, you will collaborate with our business leaders to develop business strategy and deploy corporate initiatives across PMI. This highly visible position will give you the opportunity to be exposed to different leaders and stakeholders across the whole of the business. The scope of the role means that this is a tremendous growth and development opportunity for the right candidate.
Specific Responsibilities Include
Drive key strategic projects in alignment with PMI corporate strategy across the organization for our business leaders: strategic projects cover commercial, product development, new businesses, new market entry, new business model development, growth hacking and profitability improvements
Drive end to end strategic project execution solving core business problems for functions/markets/regions/business category
Lead intellectual agenda, structure, and drive complex problem solving as core part of the strategy project
Lead a project team in the development of fact-based analyses, financials, competitive intelligence, consumer insights, route to market insights and identifying, facilitating recommendations to achieve optimal solutions
Engage functional and business leaders to get buy-in on recommendations and translate strategic choices into actions by communicating and pitching to a large set of key stakeholders, with synthesis and with a bias for action
Critical Capabilities
Outstanding strategic thinking, problem solving and analytics capabilities, delivering complex strategy workstreams requiring senior stakeholders’ management in a fast-paced environment
Ability and passion to drive change in large and complex organizations and ability to manage ambiguity, delivering under uncertainty
Entrepreneurial, biased to action and roll-up-your-sleeves mindset with a high degree of assertiveness and independence, balanced with maintaining highly collaborative and agile ways of working, able to facilitate team meetings and drive tangible outcomes, motivating a diverse and international team of stakeholders
Requirements
Strategy development toolkit (industry analytics, consumer insight, strategy development, business plan development, financial modelling)
Ideally 5+ years total experience:
o Experience in strategy consulting – 3+ years in Mc Kinsey, Bain or BCG or comparable strategy consulting environments in an junior engagement manager/engagement manager position- o Additional consumer goods or retail, consumer electronics, retail financial services, telecom, and fashion a plus
Curiosity, international experience, cultural openness, and command of English are essential with further language capabilities being a plus
