For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Zug we are looking for a Global Project Manager (m/f/d) Background:
We are looking for a candidate for the position of Global Project Manager in Rotkreuz. The main task is to enable project teams that develop new products or keep existing products on the market to achieve the set goal as effectively and efficiently as possible with the given resources.
The perfect candidate has a university degree with 5 years of professional experience in project management for the development of medical/diagnostic products. The person communicates fluently in English. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Sets up and implements projects/programs/product structures for product development and product maintenance including communication management, schedules, resource and budget plans, progress and cost control. Creates, coordinates and maintains integrated project plans including dependencies, resources and budgets that enable teams to work efficiently and effectively. Responsible for implementing Quality Control into projects in the following areas: project risk management, critical path analysis, scenario building and analysis; budget; robust planning.
* Consistently executes project management processes including leading and managing preparation for milestone reviews, capacity reviews (c QCR, SCR and f QCR), etc. where applicable and can lead to improvements. Follows best practices within project/product teams and drives continuous improvement by sharing best practices and knowledge among peers
* Chooses project methodology and applies agile methods where appropriate, including coaching and guiding teams in project methodology including agile practices (with project/program leads or PMC management when appropriate). Is able to work in a hybrid agile role combining agile methods (typically within project/product team) with non-agile methods (typically required with partners and some functions)
* Manages meetings and can manage knowledge sharing between project/product teams and sub-chapters to increase project effectiveness and optimize implementation. Establishes a positive dynamic of the project/product team through team building
* Objective: Set, measure and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), standard metrics, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) or Outcome Based Planning (OBPs) – Key Results for projects, the teams and functions to measure and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness
* Acts as a trusted advisor with a 360° view across all levels to advise and support the project/product teams as well as the wider organization in holistic planning, project risk management, scenario building as critical path analysis with the aim of ensuring optimized value creation. Single point of contact & control for project and program data collected by the functions
* Identifies project risks and describes the potential impact on budget, schedule and scope. Identifies gaps, potential bottlenecks or delays, challenges assumptions and propose options to close gaps and get projects back on track while proactively communicating issues to stakeholders.
* Manages project/product team information to support the teams themselves, the Life Cycle Teams (LCTs), and/or other leadership body decision making. Frequently provides rough/pre-defined and current planning data for scenario analysis and portfolio-level decision making. Acts as an Agile Program Manager as defined
by the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), as applicable
* Works closely with Sub-Chapter Leads, Network Leads, Functional Partners, Finance, Portfolio Management, Analytics & Insights and other Chapters to ensure optimized project execution. Coach other members of the project/product team and peers to develop new skills and provide ongoing, constructive feedback on performance and progress toward goals and expectations
* Identifies and communicates areas for improvement and potential solutions in the subchapter or Project Management Chapter
Must Haves:
* Bachelor or Master in Business or equivalent experience with a commercial degree
* Min. 5 years of experience in cross-functional project management within a regulated environment, preferably in lifecycle management, or in drug/diagnostic development
* Experience in the pharmaceutical, food or other regulated industry
* IT skills: Google applications, email, Drive, spreadsheet
* Fluent English
* Soft skills: Curious, structured approach, strong communication and influential skills, analytical and critical thinking, continuous improvement mindset
