The Finance Manager – Project Office is responsible for managing projects and initiatives to enhance effective end-to-end Finance process using Onestream platform and SAP.
He/she manages the project roadmap and timeline and project status reporting. He/She also coordinate with the IT teams to ensure all the technical functionalities or issues are properly addressed to support the delivery of the Finance project. The Finance manager- Project Office ensures the resolution of all the escalations and issues assignment on a timely manner. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for leading the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the business processes that support our financial consolidation and reporting functions.
The Finance Manager – project office is responsible for producing the reporting and status document of projects under his responsibility as well as coordinating and communicating with all stakeholders (internal & external).
Key activities and responsibilities:
Define and manage the project timeline and roadmap for the Onestream platform in line with SAP constraints, and other projects implementation
Define the functional requirements in line with the business requirements.
Define the test plan and UAT requirements and test scenarios
Coordinate and manage the technical requirements and its delivery (EPIC) with the IT teams
Produce projects status document and templates
Knowledge of the Agile methodology to act as product owner
Identify, manage and deliver project and process improvement initiatives as directed;
Lead end-to-end process design, optimization and governance of the consolidation tool and define the global to-be process ensuring it aligns with business objectives and compliance with Group policies.
Coordinate with key stakeholders, i.e. the business, the Group Consolidation team, the technical team and the management all the aspects and steps of the initiatives/projects delivery
Oversee implementation linked to the consolidation tool, incl. new features roll-outs, upgrades, system integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Develop training programs to ensure end-users are proficient in using the tool. Provide ongoing support and ensure that any issue that arise are addressed.
Ensure all process changes are effectively communicated and adopted across the organization.
Experience required:
5 years experience in Finance related projects management (strong experience with Onestream and SAP is a critical requirement)
4-6 years work experience in an environment preferably within a medium to large international company with a matrix business structure
Proven experience in financial consolidation, reporting, or a similar role within a corporate environment
Experience in managing medium size projects
Experience of preparing and delivering presentations to middle management
Competencies and skills:
Mandatory experience with the implementation and Power User knowledge of financial consolidation platforms - One Stream - and ERP’s (SAP)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of financial systems and consolidation tools, with experience in implementation and process optimization
Ability to multi-task, to stand up to pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to use sound judgement, discretion and professional integrity
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Good communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external customers at all levels

Education and language requirements:
University Degree in Economics or equivalent
Professional project management certification is an advantage
Fluency in English and in French
