Monitoring and reporting on timeliness and accuracy of affiliates’ financial submissions
Supporting affiliates and regional finance teams with questions and requests during data submissions and consolidation of data
Responsible for the full consolidation Process including Top Consolidation adjustments
Managing IC stock elimination process, being responsible for the Annual Review of margins and updates throughout the year
Accounting checks performance on month-end closing activities to ensure compliance with the standards and internal reporting rules
Participation in preparation and review of mid-year and Annual Financial Statements, including relationships with the external auditors
Supporting on drafting Accounting Policies as per Swiss Gaap requirements
Acting as Deputy Accounting Manager of the holding entity as required
Undertake tasks/projects upon request, i.e. new software implementation support, contribution process automation project, internal processes’ documentation etc.
The function also includes a Tax accountant role and is responsible for Effective Tax Rate reconciliation performed on a quarterly basis and annual preparation of Tax Memo related to Tax Losses
4-6 years work experience in an environment preferably within a medium to large international company with a matrix business structure
Proven experience in financial consolidation, reporting, or a similar role within a corporate environment
Experience in managing medium size projects
Experience of preparing and delivering presentations to middle management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of financial systems and consolidation tools, with experience in implementation and process optimization
Ability to multi-task, to stand up to pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to use sound judgement, discretion and professional integrity
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Good communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external customers at all levels
Demonstrated proficiency with MS office

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
