We are opening a position of ATM System Architect to join the team of our client. The System Architect role is a key role for the development of the company products, he is responsible to identify and document optimum solutions adapted to the client’s context, guide the software engineering team and ensure that the software will be aligned with Company Rules and Industry Best Practices. The role includes working at different levels of abstraction in the design process and interacting with all the involved stakeholders: clients, system architects, software engineers, safety and compliance teams, etc.
Responsabilities
Identify the System/Software Architecture Standards/Rules.
Analyse and understand System/Software Requirements to translate them into a comprehensive
System/Software Architecture, then document and maintain the associated architecture documentation.
Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and meet performance requirements. Identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
Prior to starting the development of new functions or components, design the top-level structure of the software, then guide the software engineering team to implement the identified Software Architecture.
Support Software Verification Engineers to define integration verification approach, integration Means of Verification, and architectural elements Means of Verification.
Understand the implications of regulatory constraints on system architecture.
Perform and document security and safety assurance activities in close collaboration with the technical experts and provide guidance on implementing the conclusions.
Participate in consulting missions and provide guidance to external clients in architecture-related
5+ years of experience in software development and distributed systems implementation.
3+ years of experience in (distributed) System Architecture.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
Good communication skills.
Fluent written and spoken English is required, French is a plus.
Experience in the Air Traffic Management domain would be a plus.
