About the role
This position will be responsible for developing and executing PR strategies that enhance Dyson’s visibility, building strong media engagement, and providing strategic and operational support to the communications team. Media Relations
Creating and executing media relations strategies to raise awareness and promote the Dyson’s key messages
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key media to secure coverage in relevant outlets
Planning and coordinating media events to drive exposure and ensure effective media engagement
Monitoring media for potential crises and managing potential crises by developing and delivering timely responses
Providing ad-hoc PR support based on business requirements
Corporate & Foundation Project Management
Developing and managing PR strategies and initiatives to elevate the Dyson's reputation
Communicating Dyson’s vision, mission and JDF initiatives to strengthen brand credibility
Developing and implementing strategic plans for foundation programs, including educational initiatives and awards for targets
Overseeing Budget and operations to ensure alignment with KPIs and project goals
Foster communication and collaboration with relevant associations, agencies and stakeholders
Handling and addressing inquiries related to foundation activities efficiently and professionally
Product Communications (Dyson Home)
Developing and implementing effective communication strategies for the Dyson Home Category and initiatives to support commercial objectives and maximize market impact
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather insight and create tailored communication strategies
Coordinating media outreach efforts to secure coverage in relevant outlets and publications
Organizing media events, product demos, and launches to ensure timely and effective communication with media and stakeholders
Analyzing the performance of the PR campaign and preparing detailed reports for key stakeholders
Reviewing and refining communication strategies to align with communication strategies
Internal communications
Crafting and implementing internal communication strategies to boost employee engagement and alignment with company objectives
Coordinating internal events and café briefings to foster a strong and unified company culture
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of internal communications through feedback and engagements, providing insights for continuous improvement
About You
Minimum 4-5 years solid experience working in the communications field.
Degree or Diploma holder in public relations, communications, or journalism preferred.
Experience in technology, beauty preferred in both agencies and in-house.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
